How to reach Padova

By car

Motorway Venezia - Milano (A4)
(go out at “Padova Est (east)” if you’re coming from Venice – at “Padova Ovest (west)” if you’re coming from Milan
Motorway Bologna - Padova (A13): go out at Padova Sud (south).

By train

Look at the timetible at website: www.trenitalia.it, trains are very frequent from Venice (about 30 min.) and from Verona (about 1 hour)

By airplane

VENEZIA . Airport Marco Polo (Tessera), the closest (40 km). From here, you can reach Padova in these ways:
- By taxi (but in Italy are very very expensive): two services:
  - 1. RADIOTAXI: call 049 651333 24 hours before to make a reservation for a taxi to use with other people (“taxi collettivo”) and you’ll be in Padova with 20€ in 40 minutes.
  - 2. LANDOMAS: call 049 8601426 for the same service. –
- By autobus: bus SITA leaves every 30 minutes from 6.35 a.m. to 10.35 p.m. (but not so often on sunday) from the airport to Padova Bus Station (Piazzale Boschetti). It's the best way to arrive. It takes about 1 hour and costs about 4 euros!
- By train: you can take a bus(ATVO navetta Flybus) or (ACTV n.15) to go to Mestre railway station (every 10 or 20 minutes). You can also buy the tickets on board. Than take a train to Padova (direction Milano or Verona or Bologna. It costs about 2 euros, and you arrive in 20 minutes).
VERONA. Airport Valerio Catullo (Villafranca Veronese, 90 km). The AEROBUS leaves every 20 minutes from 6.35 a.m. to 11.35 pm to "Verona Porta Nuova" railway station (the bus costs 4,50 euros and you can buy the ticket on board). From here, you can take the train to Padova (direction Venezia or Trieste and it costs about 5 euros and you arrive in about 50 minutes).

TREVISO Airport Canova, 45 km (phone: 0422-315111), where all ryanair and transavia flights arrive. As soon as you are outside the airport there is the route to Padova with the bus stop. The bus (SITA) to Padova is every 20 or 30 minutes.
